Dr Samuel Law is Associate Professor of Intercultural Studies at Singapore Bible College and the Pastor-at-Large for the Evangelical Chinese Church of Seattle (WA, USA – www.eccseattle.org ) where he served as Elder Board Chair and English Ministry pastor (1996 ¨C 2011). Previously, he has served as senior pastor for the Lexington Chinese Christian Church (KY, USA ¨C www.lcccky.org, 2011 ¨C 2016) and as Adjunct Faculty member in the Global and Urban Missions program at Seattle Pacific University¡¯s School of Theology.
He was appointed as Senior Dean for Academic Affairs in 2019.? The position has since been retitled to the Vice Principal for Academic Affairs after the College¡¯s 2022 re-organization.
Prior to entering ministry, Dr Samuel served as a Staff Fellow at the National Institute for Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, National Institutes of Health (Bethesda MD) and also holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering. Sam and his wife Esther have four children.
He is the author of?more than 30 abstracts, articles, and chapters in the areas of missiology and biomedical engineering, authoring one book and co-editing another.?
He is a member of the American Society of Missiology, the Evangelical Missiological Society, the International Association for Mission Studies, and the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers.
