Dr Tan Lai Yong became a Christian in 1974 at the Siglap Secondary School “ Youth For Christ“. He has been a member of Bethesda Frankel Estate Church since. Graduated from NUS in 1985 , he served as a medical doctor in Singapore before relocating to Yunnan in 1996 . He was involved in rural community projects from 1996-2010 in Yunnan ; and coming back to SG and joined NUS as faculty.
